Idhaya College of Arts & Science for Women, Puducherry, is affiliated to Pondicherry University. Started by the Franciscan sisters of the Immaculate congregation & had its inception in 2004.
Its vision “Arise and Shine” aims in moulding the womenfolk.
Our college is the progressive symbol of quality education. We build the “citizens of tomorrow” through education.
It’s my immense pleasure to extend my expertise knowledge as the Principal of Idhaya college of Arts and Science for women, Puducherry. The management has been more benevolent to uplift the down trodden womenfolk to educate, empower and to elevate their standard of life and by establishing the women’s college. It also aims in giving an opportunity to perceive higher education.
Many of our students have accomplished university ranks and continuous encouragement is given in extracurricular activities. Students participate in various competitions and brought laurels.
The progress of the students is monitored to have a holistic development, which helps them to be professionally independent. I am witnessing the rapid development in the infrastructure to accomplish the contemporary needs of the students.
I extend my wishes and pray for the students to flourish and become in par with other urban counter parts, well equipped with skills and ethical mindset with a brave emotional quotient to claim greater heights in future.
