The Psychological Counselling Cell organized a Mental Health Awareness Program on 16th October 2025 at the Idhaya Auditorium. 

\r\n

The Resource Person Dr. E. Vidhya Psychiatrist Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital & Post Graduate Institute, Puducherry Government,  delivered an insightful lecture highlighting how balanced life support emotional stability and cognitive performance.

The event effectively raised awareness among students about the importance of mental health and holistic well-being.

Health and Wellness Cell, in association with the Psychological Counselling Cell, organized an Awareness Programme on “Digital Tools for Mental Well-Being” in collaboration with National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences(NIMHANS) Bengaluru on 06.03.2026

The session was conducted by Dr. Madhumitha Venkatesh, who created awareness about mental health and highlighted the importance of digital psychology applications such as MindNotes, Let’s Talk Life, and PUSH-D to support mental well-being.

The programme concluded with an interactive session with students, encouraging them to make effective use of digital tools to maintain and improve their mental health
