RESOURCE PERSON-Mr. D. Govindaraj, Solar Energy Project Head and Deputy Director, Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Puducherry.

The resource person delivered an insightful and highly informative session on the significance of solar power and its crucial role in energy conservation. He explained the benefits of renewable energy, the functioning and applications of solar systems, and how adopting solar energy can contribute to a sustainable future. His presentation enriched the students’ knowledge and motivated them to practice energy-saving habits.

As part of the programme, various competitions related to energy conservation were conducted, including:

Debate

Students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated creativity, awareness, and communication skills. The resource person distributed Winner and Runner-up prizes to the students, appreciating their active involvement

The event was informative, impactful, and played a significant role in promoting awareness about solar energy and sustainable energy conservation among students.
