The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) aims at harnessing the potential of the youth by equipping them with correct information on HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care and Support and Treatment it also aims in building their capacities as peer educators in spreading messages on positive health behaviour in an enabling environment and increasing voluntary blood donation from among the youth
The motto of the Red Ribbon Club is “Prevention is better than cure” Red Ribbon Express is an HIV/Aids awareness campaign train by the Indian Railways . The motto of the Red Ribbon Express is “Embarking of the Journey on Life”

The Red Ribbon Club of Idhaya College organized a Poster Making Competition to create awareness about HIV/AIDS. The event was conducted in connection with World AIDS Day to educate students and promote social responsibility.
The competition was held on 27.11.2025 at the college campus, with active participation from students of various departments. The objective of the program was to spread awareness about HIV prevention, encourage safe practices, and eliminate stigma and discrimination.
Participants showcased their creativity through meaningful posters with powerful slogans and messages such as “Prevention is Better than Cure,” “Stop HIV Stigma,” and “Awareness is the Key.” The posters reflected students’ understanding and concern towards building a healthier society.
The entries were evaluated based on creativity, relevance, clarity, and presentation by a panel of judges.
