Placement
Computer Science is a course which deals with the study of the algorithmic process and the computational machines that are included in this course. Computer Science is used in our daily lives as well to convert the raw facts and the data into useful information that can be used by humans daily. The main focus of computer science course is to give rise to professionals who can work in the sectors that provide different services to the companies.
The Department of Computer Science was started in the year 2008 with one staff and 38 students.
The department got affiliation in the year 2008 with the sanctioned strength of 50 students under Pondicherry University. We started with 38 students in the academic year 2008-2009 and the student intake has been increased in the year 2015 with 75 students. The very next year itself the sanctioned strength has been promoted to 100 students. Nowour department has grown up 298 students per year. So for 938 students have been passed out with good academic results.
To be a recognized leader by imparting quality technical education and thereby facilitating the extensive research environment, equipping students with latest skills in the field of technology supplemented with practical orientation to face challenges in the fast morphing modern computing industry and academia for the betterment of the society.

The computer Lab has equipped with latest computers. Computer Lab 1 with 60 systems 1 LCD projector. Our lab is well equipped with the latest configuration machines and original software’s. The network communication includes a fiber optic backbone is offering 100 Mbps connectivity to the internet. The department has wireless internet connectivity to access the network by the laptop and mobile. Our curriculum includes a wide variety of subjects to enhance the practical knowledge of the students, which are listed below:

On account of youth day , our college celebrated International youth day in our idhaya campus on august 8th 2024, the event has conducted with various competition like rangoli, speech, poetry, drawing etc, student are enjoyed and participated in the competitions.

Our college celebrated 78th indepence day on august 15,2024, the chief guest Dr.K. karpagam, associate professor, kanchima munivar, PG studies and research, the event was started with welcome address and the chief had good motivational speeh to the students.
